The assembly of the Coro Polifonico di Ruda recently met to elect the new board of directors for the three-year period 2025-2027.
The board of directors, which met later, elected the new president in the person of Gabriele Rampogna, already vice president in the previous three-year term. In the face of a solid compactness of the outgoing council, Vice President Enrico Del Frate and Councillor Saverio Ricchi were confirmed while Paolo Buri was elected as the new member.
At the time of the passing of the baton, the outgoing president, Pier Paolo Gratton, a historical figure who has led the choir for numerous terms over the last decades, underlined the artistic uniqueness that distinguishes the Polifonico di Ruda as a male choir and the continuous research not only in the repertoires but also in the enhancement of a choral identity that, in the contemporary era represents a not a small challenge.
Gabriele Rampogna, of Tarvis origin, percussion teacher in secondary school, started collaborating with Polifonico as a percussionist in 1997 and has been a member of the choir since 2007. For me it is a great honour to represent such an important and recognised choir both territorially and internationally where thanks also to the guidance of Maestro Fabiana Noro, through a continuous work of study and musical improvement, extraordinary artistic results have been achieved.
2025 then marks an important anniversary for the Polyphonic: 80 years of the refoundation and of continuous activity. During the year there will be numerous concert appointments both in the region and outside the national borders with a trip to London in September. In autumn, the musical triptych GENESI composed by Renato Miani and dedicated to three female figures from the three UNESCO cities of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region: Aquileia, Cividale del Friuli and Palmanova, is scheduled to be released both on DVD and on digital platforms.
