A summer of concerts for Coro Polifonico of Ruda
The summer of 2025 will see the Polifonico di Ruda as the protagonist, engaged in various regional festivals with different and new musical programs and experiences. The boys directed by Fabiana Noro will start with the first appointment on Saturday 28 June at 8:30 pm at one of the oldest and most evocative Pievi of Carnia, the Pieve di Santo Stefano in Cesclans. As part of the Festival Suoni&Natura, (artistic director Riccardo Pes) the Canti Rocciosi by Giovanni Sollima will be performed together with the Blanc string orchestra.

The event will continue on Monday 21 July at 7:30 pm at the church of San Francesco in Cividale del Friuli for a world premiere performance as part of the Mittelfest 2025 together with the dance company Arearea, the visual installations by Maria Elisabetta Novello accompanied by the percussions played by Gabriele Rampogna. The title Messaggeri evokes the imagination of a series of actions aimed at determining a reflection on chaos and the desire to redesign our time, a sound vision that wants to give shape to the unspeakable and the inexpressible between earthly everyday life and elevated spirituality.

With great enthusiasm, Thursday 31 July at 8:45 pm at the church of San Giuseppe in Castions di Strada, Il Polifonico returns as the protagonist in a concert full of sounds and stylistic variety as part of the Musica in Villa program. In Nebula Aurorae, the title of the concert, will range in genre and repertoire where pieces by: Sato, Domini, Miani, Thompson, Gjeilo, Sollima, Anzovino and Whitacre will be sung and played, accompanied for the occasion by Matteo Andri on piano, Chiara Trentin on cello and Gabriele Rampogna on percussion.

Last appointment Sunday 3 August at 18:00 at the church of Sant'Ulderico di Sutrio where, as part of the summer events promoted by the Pro Loco of the splendid town in the heart of the But Valley, the Polifonico will perform with a repertoire of both sacred-contemporary inspiration and interpretations written and arranged for the Polifonico by Italian and Friulian composers and arrangers. They will be instrumentally accompanied by Ferdinando Mussutto on the piano, Chiara Trentin on the cello and Gabriele Rampogna on percussion.
