With the cataloguing and organisation of the legacy of maestro Secondo Delbianco (1910-1981) the work of updating the historical archive of the Polifonico di Ruda choir can be considered concluded. The work, carried out by archivist Vanni Feresin, has allowed for the cataloguing of tens of hundreds of scores and music used by Friulian choirs starting from the second half of the twentieth century.
Today the historical archive of the Polifonico - in addition to the more than two thousand scores already in the possession of the group - can count on the legacies of maestros Eligio Tomasin, Giovanni Famea and, indeed, Secondo Delbianco for a substantial amount of documents useful for those who intend to work on the music and musicians active in Friuli in the last century.
For the Polifonico this was another important piece of its being an all-round 'cultural association' interested not only in singing, but also in the more general work of safeguarding and valorising the musical heritage of our region.
