Canta Natale 2024: amazing concerts in December.
The 2024 edition of Canta Natale promises to be a very rich and interesting musical program for the public who will want and enjoy following the Polifonico in December. There will be 5 events, in different cities of the region, which will see the Polifonico engaged, directed by Fabiana Noro.
It will start on December 8, the day of the Immaculate Conception in the church of Santa Maria Maddalena in Jalmicco at 6:00 pm with a repertoire that will range from the sacred to traditional Christmas songs.
On Saturday 14 December at 8:30 pm, on the occasion of the closing of the celebrations for the 40 years of cultural activity of the “San Clemente” club, the Polifonico will be on stage in the municipal auditorium of Povoletto with a repertoire that will include authors such as Solima, Withacre, Thompson, Piovani. In this concert the Polifonico will accompany the soprano Sandra Foschiatto in the famous piece "La Vergine degli angeli" by Giuseppe Verdi.
On Wednesday, December 18th at 9:00 pm in the church of San Giovanni Bosco in Lignano Sabbiadoro, sacred music will be the protagonist with authors such as Withacre, Da Rold, Gjeilo, Rheinberger and Lauridsen.
On Saturday, December 21st at 8:30 pm, in the church of Santo Stefano Protomartire in Ruda there will be the traditional end-of-year concert where you can listen to the most significant pieces of the artistic activity carried out during the year including some romantic pearls by Schubert and Schumann. Admission will be free and the proceeds will be donated entirely to the association "OVCI La nostra Famiglia".
The closing of Canta Natale is scheduled for Friday, December 27th at 8:30 pm in the beautiful setting of the church of Sant'Andrea Apostolo in Pozzuolo del Friuli. The concert, organized in collaboration with the municipal administration and the parish, will see the Polyphonic interpreter of both sacred and contemporary pieces, all in the spirit of sharing in an evening that can conclude the activity of the year 2024 in the best way.
