Mittelfest 2025 MESSAGGERI - Arearea & Coro Polifonico di Ruda -

Visual arts and dance merge with the mystery of sacred choral music performed by twenty choristers. As Meredith Monk said: "The voice dances and the body sings". In a thick layer of ash and dust, the dancers move slowly, with their eyes to the sky. They aspire to be "messengers of light in this dark age". The soft prayer of the voices contrasts with the idea of ​​the body, its presence, its materiality. A reflection on chaos and the desire to redesign our time, a sound vision that wants to give shape to the unspeakable and the inexpressible. Earthly everyday life and elevated spirituality mix together. Dancers, choristers and spectators are next to each other: they become part of the same work.
