The Polifonico in Bergamo with Messaggeri
The performance Messaggeri—conceived by Roberto Cocconi, Luca Zampar, and Maria Elisabetta Novello, and featuring the Polifonico—will be staged on Saturday, 29 August, at the Duomo di Sant'Alessandro in Bergamo Alta, as part of the Danza Estate Festival.
The project was presented last year by the contemporary dance company Arearea at Mittelfest in Cividale.
The Polifonico will perform works by Eric Whitacre, Marco Bonato, and Ola Gjeilo, while also taking part in the dance sequences conceived by the company.
For the choir, it will be an immersive, demanding, and particularly compelling experience.
