Daniele Zanettovich’s Stabat Mater was warmly received in the performance by the Coenobium Vocale conducted by Maria Dal Bianco. Presented as part of the Quaresima in Musica project organized by the Coro Polifonico di Ruda, the concerts were held in the Duomo di Maniago and at the Chiesa evangelico-luterana di Trieste.

Audience attendance was moderate, but the public responded with long applause for the performers of the two concerts: in addition to the Coenobium, the soloists Alberto Barbetta (organ), Francesco Lovato (viola), and above all Cecilia Bernini, a mezzo-soprano of the Teatro alla Scala choir, who engaged in a dialogue with the choir in the sequence by Jacopone da Todi, building toward a crescendo that reached its expressive peak in the final Amen.

The two concerts were made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Ministero della Cultura (MiC), and the local municipal administrations and parishes involved in the project.
