Stabat Mater by Daniele Zanettovich—for male choir, organ, viola, and mezzo-soprano—will be the centerpiece of the 2026 edition of Quaresima in Musica, a festival organized by the Coro Polifonico di Ruda since the 1990s. The two evenings will feature the Coenobium Vocale of Piovene Rocchetta, conducted by Maria Dal Bianco. The concerts are scheduled at the Duomo di Maniago on Saturday, 14 March 2026 (8:30 p.m.) and at the Chiesa evangelico-luterana di Trieste on Sunday, 15 March 2026 (6:00 p.m.). In addition to Stabat Mater, the program will include other motets by the Trieste-born composer, reflecting the particular liturgical season. Admission to both concerts will be free, subject to seating availability.
