On Monday, July 21st, a packed church of San Francesco hosted the premiere of Messaggeri, a project conceived by artist Maria Elisabetta Novello in collaboration with Roberto Cocconi, Luca Zampar, and Fabiana Noro. This production, by Compagnia Arearea and Coro Polifonico di Ruda, showcased a unique artistic approach, featuring visual installations, sculptural movement, and the highest levels of sacred contemporary choral performance, all underscored in timbre and rhythm by a percussion ensemble created and performed by Gabriele Rampogna. On stage, the dancers—Luca Di Giusto, Fabio Pronesti, Andrea Rizzo, Luca Zampar, Roberto Cocconi, and the Polifonico di Ruda, directed by Fabiana Noro—enthralled the audience, transporting them to mystical dimensions with rhythmic cadences, vibrations, variations in sound pressure, and the emotional involvement of every single movement, prompting profound inner reflection. The blind can also be involved with the invaluable audio description work by Lisa Colautti.
