The Canti rocciosi, a composition written for the Dolomites' inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage Site by the eclectic cellist and composer Giovanni Sollima, represents one of the Polifonico's most refined and appreciated repertoires. At yesterday's performance, staged in the beautiful church of San Giacomo in Clauzetto (PN), a town considered "the balcony of Friuli," with the Blanc String Orchestra under the direction of Fabiana Noro, the audience appreciated and applauded every single piece, including the Spasenye Sodelal and the Cant dels Ocells, accompanied on cello by Riccardo Pes, artistic director of the Festival Blanc.
