Coro Polifonico di Ruda will also be present - Saturday 4 May - at the commemoration of the engineer Gianpietro Benedetti, president of Danieli, dead few days ago at the age of 81. A far-sighted industrialist and extraordinary patron, Benedetti had not failed to make his contribution to the activity of the Polifonico as early as the 1980s. Today the whole choir mourns the passing of an undisputed protagonist of the history of Friuli and the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, not only industrially.
