“We had never listened to an Italian choir like this”. These are the words of the organizers of the Polifonico concert in Ljubljana last July 15th in the prestigious setting of St. Nikola's Cathedral. Inserted in the summer programs of the Slovenian capital, organized by Imago Sloveniae, the Polifonico - directed by Fabiana Noro and accompanied on organ and piano by Michele Bravin - presented an entirely sacred program. The proposed authors, between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, have been in the repertoire of the Friulian choir for some years, but presented for the first time in Slovenia. The large audience - the cathedral was truly packed - applauded convincingly and for a long time the proposals of the Friulian choir. Upcoming events in Veneto, Friuli and Piedmont. A trip to Rome is planned for the autumn.
