In a serenely competitive and excellently organized climate, on Saturday 19 October, the Coro Polifonico di Ruda was the protagonist on the stage of the auditorium of the G. Verdi Conservatory of Turin together with the 10 semi-finalist conductors in the last part of the semi-final round at the 3rd edition of the “Fosco Corti” International Competition in Turin for choir conductors. A demanding test for both the choir and the choirmasters who randomly arranged pieces by: Rheinberger, Bruckner, Hauptmann, Mendelssohn and Schumann (Feniarco link). For the choir members of the Polifonico it was exciting to be able to propose part of their romantic repertoire to an audience of enthusiasts and especially professionals and, on the other hand, it was also exciting to be directed by masters of different choral cultures and traditions. Positive comments and impressions were unanimous, as were the compliments to Fabiana Noro, present at the event, for the meticulous preparation work carried out.
